Job Description
Commis Chef required for an outstanding hotel located in the heart of the north west of Cumbria.
The role
This three star hotel would like to appoint a Commis Chef to progress their career within the restaurant. This position requires an ambitious approach to their career. The ideal candidate will be well motivated, dedicated and willingness to learn is essential to this role.
You will be a creative individual who is keen to learn, with relevant kitchen experience looking to build a career in the industry. You must be willing to learn new skills while at the same time developing those that you already hold. This is an ideal position for a chef who wants to learn the skills of a commis chef from one of the best. The hotel has a fantastic modern kitchen with all the latest equipment.
Reporting directly to the Head Chef

Qualifications/Experience required:
You will have, or be working towards NVQ 1&2 or equivalent and have a minimum of 1 year kitchen experience in a hotel or restaurant. All applicants must possess a food hygiene certificate.
